No PT dry needling

I am a licensed ND LMP in Washington State. I recently earned my Master's degree in Acupuncture over the course of three years. I think it takes time, practice, and supervision to be sure you are practicing safely. I think PTs should focus on treated the outside of the body. Putting needles I to untrained handsis too risky. Puncturing a lung is easy to do if you are not properly trained. There are also many contraindications for needling someone that may not be covered I a PT intake. I thonk the public and especially the elderly at at risk if PTs are dry needling. If they want to practice professionally and safely they should attend an acupuncture school and pursue a license to perform acuouncture.Don't risk public safety!!!
