Please do no allow physical therapists to "dry needle", which is essentially acupuncture, without the necessary education, training, and practical experience. It is not right or fair to require those that have met the educational requirements to be awarded the title of "acupuncturist" to have to compete with physical therapists who have nowhere near the amount of training.

I am a long-time believer in acupuncture and regularly go for treatment and I'd NEVER allow a physical therapist to stick any needles in my body especially knowing that they've had a minimal amount of training.
