Please approve this petition to allow lawful carry of firearms in state parks and land by law abiding citizens. As a mother and hiker who enjoys taking my children to view the beauty of nature in our wonderful parks and land, I want the ability to protect myself and my family legally from the criminal element that also inhabit these areas looking for easy prey or a quiet area to conduct their illegal activities.
