There is no reason why state forests should be an exception to Virginia's successful concealed and open carry laws.  When law abiding citizens are allowed to carry, everyone becomes safer.  Some may not feeeeel safer, but they are.  Experience shows us that mass shootings nearly always occur in places where carrying firearms is not allowed.  Allowing open and concealed carry with a permit in Virginia State Forests will make those forests one more place not safe for criminals and killers but safer for the rest of us.

Pay no attention to the illogic of how people feel.  Instead pay attention to how safe they actually are.  More guns = less crime.  It's a statistical fact.
