Please give serious consideration to allowing the lawful carry of personal firearms in Virginia Nat'l Parks.  There is no reason to believe that a person who has gone through the trouble of obtaining a legal CCW permit will be any less careful or responsible just because he is in a different part of the state.  And given the increase in incidents involving predator attacks (by both the two-and-four-legged variety) it only makes good sense to give law-abiding citizens a means to protect themselves and their families while enjoying the scenic and educational benefits of Virginia's parks.
