The first commenter is a sad example of the brainwashing done by the gun control nuts.  If he thinks he is safer if guns are not allowed, then he is sadly mistaken.  A criminal is not ever going to pay attention to a "no guns allowed" policy.  The issue is not if the parks are safe or not.  The issue is that my right to protect myself should not stop anywhere.  I would like it if the politicians and judges would take that right as serious as they do the first ammendment.  Please stop this foolishness and lift the ban.  Thank you, John
