GCA is NOT superior as a sanctioning body

Ive competed in amateur MMA events that were sanctioned by all three of the currently approved sanctioning bodies.  Its obvious that house bill 1228 benefits only the GCA and I have noticed the GCA cronies coming on this forum trying to pretend that GCA is the superior sanctioning body in the state and I personally do not see i that way.  The UCA (united combat arts sanctioning) has the most consistent referee's and judges that I have competed for and they truly care about the safety of the fighters.   Their fighter rules meetings are head and shoulders better than GCA.

So my advice is don't buy into them acting as if they are the only ones in the state capable of overseeing amateur MMA.  I have never known of UCA having a single fighter safety issue . so that argument is not valid.  I don't know of any negative reports on the VCSS either as it pertains to issues with fighter safety.  GCA is trying to blow smoke up everyone's hind ends with the hopes of creating a monopoly for themselves!!

Oppose HB 1228, this would sorely hurt the VA economy with fighters having to go out of the state in order to get competitive experience, taking a lot of revenue out of our VA and into neighboring states.   This bill is BAD Business!!
