My name is Victor Banks and I am co-founder of the non-profit organization, Melrose Athletic Club, Inc.  Myself and 3 other volunteer coaches have been involved in the community helping youth and young adults learn and compete in the sport of amateur boxing since 2003.  Amateur boxing should be exempt from this law that went into effect last October in favor of USA Boxing being the sanctioning body of Amateur boing, which is already in place and has the experience needed to continue its work.  Boxing is an Olympic sport and this law would basically end any Olympic hopes for youth and amateurs who live in Virginia.  Please vote no for this Bill.
