Strongly Support:

I am a father of a MMA fighter who is about to go pro. When he first became involved in the sport as an amateur I was shocked by the lack of oversight with certain promotions. Referees who literally had no idea what they were doing nor had any control over the ring or the fighters. Promoters who were more worried about selling tickets and alcohol then the safety of the fighters. We were fortunate to have a coach and a gym that directed us in the right direction.

I read comments about this afffecting small gyms. This order is the regulation of promotions and events; not gym memberships. I can only speak from the point of view of MMA fighters, and as such I can not believe anyone would oppose a rule that only makes the sport safer for you or your fighter. This order needs to be retained for the safety of the fighters!
