I am soon to be an amateur boxer. The additional cost this would make would prevent amateur boxing as as an armatuer we are not getting paid. with out the armatuer level of competition it would prevent us to go on to becoming pro because we would not have enough experience. The rules in place by the state are detrimental to sport of boxing. there is no need for the added rules at the amateur level as USA boxing has already set standards to protect fighters at this level.
