Thank you for the opportunity to share my thoughts on this important issue.

I - like countless others here in the state of Virginia - greatly enjoy the opportunity to visit and use the facilities provided in our state forrests. They are truly a precious assest for us and our offspring to enjoy.

Unfortunately, there is cause to believe that some risks are inherent when visiting these places. Both natural and man made risks to exist which make it imperative that individual law abiding citizens be able to protect themselves when using these forrest lands. It is not only our constitutional right to protect ourselves...but it is simply the right thing to do! We owe it to ourselves and our families!
