Please enact the petition to allow law abiding citizens to carry a firearm, openly or concealed, within state parks and forests.  There is NO good reason to have regulations within a state park or forest that differ from those in effect throughout the rest of the state.  If I, as an upstanding citizen (and I do mean "citizen," not "subject") am able to carry a firearm for my own protection and that of my family elsewhere in the state, then I should be able to do the same within a state park or forest.  Thank you for your consideration.
