Gentlemen,

I was under the impression that all Stste Owned Property outside of Court Houses and K-12 schools were already covered by right to carry laws. It is my understanding that local governments and State Agencies can not override laws passed by the Generasl Assembly.

To this end, I see no reason to restrict persons with Carry Permits from carrying on State Forests. Conceled Carry Permit holders have already passed back ground checks and been trained in the proper use of Firearms. These persons are already proven to be the most law abiding citizens in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
