Before his death, Thomas Jefferson wrote something to the effect that the mass of mankind has NOT been born with saddles on their backs, nor a favored few booted and spurred, ready to ride them...  Liberty is an inalienable right.  Our legitimate right to self-defense does NOT cease at the borders of our state parks.  I believe your current regulation prohibiting handguns in state parts to be illegal and unconstitutional.  Jefferson also said, "I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."  If our current regulation does anything, it allows unfettered gang and other criminal activity in our state parks.  Please cease "taking care" of us and approve the petition.  Thanks in advance.
