I respectfully object to the proposal of mandatory exam every 3 threes on the BOD laws.  The laws governing Dentistry have not changed much if at all in the 15 years I have had my license, yet as they say, 'ignorance of the law is no defense'.  If the laws do not change that much, how can Dentists, subjected to disciplinary action by the Board claim 'they weren't aware'.  If they passed the exam once, they knew the material once.  Needing a refresher course in the form of a mandatory CE update may be a better approach.  Please do not punish all for the actions of few.
