In favor of the right to carry handguns in Va. Forests

I am a citizen of Virginia and am fully in favor of this rulemaking to allow citizens to carry a handgun (either concealed with a concealed carry permit, or openly in a holster) in Virginia forest areas (including into any forest building or service area).  It is well known that the criminals don't obey the law and carry weapons with impunity.  This rule, when passed, will allow the honest citizens to legally possess the only effective means of self defense (effectively leveling the playing field) when hiking in remote areas.  Law abiding gun owners are NOT the problem, and should not be punished by being forced to either disarm when going into the wilderness, or to carry a weapon  in violation of current regulations.  APPROVE THIS RULE to allow the carry of handguns in the forests of the Commonwealth by law abiding citizens.
