The extend pending of Food Stamp applications should be eliminated.  In my 10 years of doing eligibility, there has been a very low percentage of applications that were extended past 30 days where verifications have been returned and the case processed.  Elimination of extended processing for Food Stamps would also line up with TANF application processing timeframes, which would help with workloads.
