Since self-sufficiency is what we try to instill in our customers, it is important that the extend pend timeframe be eliminated.  Thirty days is ample time to process an application especially if an individual is truly in need of our services.  Eliminating the EOO  would also be extremely beneficial to the eligibility worker at this critical time because of increased caseloads in all programs.  This way the worker can concentrate on providing services instead of keeping track of cases that are in EOO.
