I believe it would be good to increase the CE requirements for LVT's from 6-8 hours, however, I do appreciate that many technicians lose time when they do continueing education, and that can be an issue when you lose a day or two of work in order to get CE.  I would prefer to consider levels of licensing, such as nurses, with designations for higher licensing levels requiring more CE hours.
