Parents should not be capped at a paid 40 hr work week if their child qualifies for more than that. Per proposed regulations, the parent can only be a caregiver if it is proven that there are no other suitable options. Therefore, they will not be able to hire out the remainder hours. It is only right that the family get paid for providing care the approved number of eligible hours.
