To promote only one type of relationship is a form of discrimination and many studies have shown that same sex couples are just as able to raise a child as opposite sex couples. Plus this gives more children a chance to have a loving home and enables fewer kids to be stuck in the orphan system. It does not only benefit the children, but also shows how our state can uphold the principles of the Constitution, i.e. the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
