As part of its local engagement strategy for the Phase III Watershed Implementation Plan (WIP) to protect the Chesapeake Bay, DEQ will be conducting four coordination meetings with Planning District Commissions (PDC) staff across the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. The dates, locations and times of the meetings are listed below. DEQ has contracted with PDCs to engage with localities, Soil & Water Conservation Districts and stakeholders to identify best management practices, programmatic, funding and capacity needs that will improve local waters and the Chesapeake Bay. The purpose of the coordination meetings is to review the tools and other information they need to begin the local engagement meetings.
