| Purpose of the meeting The Board will meet to discuss issues related to Virginia agriculture and consumer services. In addition, staff will request the Board's approval of the following regulatory action: • Final action to (i) amend 2 VAC 5-61 (Rules and Regulations Governing Livestock Dealers and Marketing Facilities for the Purpose of Controlling and Eradicating Infectious and Contagious Diseases of Livestock) and (ii) repeal 2 VAC 5-60 (Rules and Regulations Governing the Operation of Livestock Markets) and 2 VAC 5-120 (Rules and Regulations Governing the Recordkeeping by Virginia Cattle Dealers for the Control or Eradication of Brucellosis of Cattle). The Board will also consider two petitions for rulemaking related to 2 VAC 5-317 (Regulations for Enforcement of the Noxious Weeds Law). The Board will entertain public comment at the conclusion of all other business for a period not to exceed 30 minutes. Any person who needs any accommodations in order to participate at the meeting should contact the person identified in this notice at least five days before the meeting date so that suitable arrangements can be made for any appropriate accommodation. | |||||||||
