| Purpose of the meeting The Advisory Board on Teacher Education and Licensure (ABTEL) Meeting will be held October 6, at 9:00 a.m. at the James Monroe Building, 22nd Floor Board Room, 101 N. 14th Street, Richmond, Virginia 23219. The Advisory Board on Teacher Education and Licensure is pleased to receive public comment at each of its regular meetings. Public comment is only accepted during the public comment period, not during standing committees. To allow the Advisory Board sufficient time for its other business, the total time allotted for public comment will generally be limited to thirty (30) minutes. Individuals seeking to speak to the Board will be allotted three (3) minutes each. Those wishing to speak at the Advisory Board should contact Ms. Alice Bryant at Alice.Bryant@doe.virginia.gov or (804) 750-8714. Speakers are urged to contact Ms. Bryant in advance of the meeting. Because of time limitations, those persons who have not previously registered to speak prior to the day of the Advisory Board meeting cannot be assured that they will have an opportunity to appear before the Advisory Board. In order to make the limited time available most effective, speakers may provide multiple written copies of their comments. | |
