| Purpose of the meeting A meeting of the Potomac Aquifer Recharge Oversight Committee (the Committee) established pursuant to Chapter 54 of the 2019 Virginia Acts of Assembly. The Committee is responsible for ensuring that the SWIFT Project, including its effect on the Potomac Aquifer, is monitored independently. SWIFT Project stands for the Sustainable Water Initiative for Tomorrow Project and is being conducted by the Hampton Roads Sanitation District.
