| Purpose of the meeting An information meeting regarding an application to modify an existing permit for the land application of biosolids and water treatment plant residuals in Hanover County convened by the Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) to exchange information with the interested public on technical issues related to the proposed permit modification such as: site-specific information that DEQ may consider when drafting the permit modification, the standard content of permits, and how the public can provide comment on a draft permit modification. Recyc Systems, Inc. application would authorize the land application of biosolids and water treatment plant residuals as fertilizer to an additional 658.1 acres of agricultural land at 3 sites located within Hanover County, at controlled rates protective of water quality and human health.
