| Purpose of the meeting A public meeting to discuss technical issues related to a Virginia Pollution Abatement permit modification request from KPD, Inc. for the addition of land application sites for the land application of biosolids and water treatment plant residuals in Augusta County. KPD, Inc. has applied for issuance of the referenced permit to replace their existing VDH Septage Land Application Permit No. SH3107. The applicant proposes to land apply biosolids to 138.6 acres of agricultural land at standard agronomic rates and without a discharge to surface waters.
