| Purpose of the meeting DMME will provide an overview of the coal mining industry safety performance through March 2013. Also, the Board will review and approve the annual Coal Mine Safety Awards. The meeting is open to the public. No public comment has been requested; however, the Board will receive comments from interested parties related to the work of the Board at the end of the meeting. Due to time constraints, public comments may be limited. Special accommodations for the disabled will be made available at the public meeting on request. Anyone needing special accommodations should contact the Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy at least seven days prior to the meeting or hearing date. | |
