Purpose of the meeting
Discussion of public charter school application for Green Run Collegiate (Virginia Beach, Virginia) The agenda and meeting materials are available online at http://www.doe.virginia.gov/boe/committees_standing/charter_schools/index.shtml. The Board of Education’s Charter School Committee is pleased to receive public comment at any of its scheduled meetings. In order to allow the Committee sufficient time to discuss the charter school proposal, the total time allotted to public comment will generally be limited to thirty (30) minutes. Individuals seeking to address the Committee will be allotted three (3) minutes each. Those wishing to speak to the Board’s Charter School Committee should contact the Department of Education at (804) 225-2924. In order to make the limited time available most effective, speakers are urged to provide 12 written copies of their comments or other material amplifying their views.
