| Purpose of the meeting Final public meetings on a study to restore water quality of the recreation/swimming use of Morris Creek which is impaired due to bacterial violations. Virginia agencies have been working to identify sources of the bacterial contamination in Morris Creek. This impairment spans approximately 7.73 stream miles in Charles City County. This stream is impaired for failure to meet the recreational (swimming) designated use because of bacterial water quality standard violations. The public notice appears in the Virginia Register of Regulations on July 6, 2009. The public comment period begins on July 15, 2009 and ends on August 13, 2009. | |
