| Purpose of the meeting The first public meeting on the development of a Total Maximum Daily Load Implementation Plan (TMDL IP) for Smith Creek in Rockingham and Shenandoah Counties. The plan will be developed to implement bacteria and sediment TMDLs that were developed for Smith Creek in 2004. The public comment period begins on August 6, 2008, and ends on September 8, 2008. | |
