| Purpose of the meeting A public hearing to receive comments on a draft permit for the siting of the Centreville Turnpike Construction/Demolition/Debris (CDD) landfill in Virginia Beach. The applicant is proposing to site a new CDD landfill in an existing sand and gravel quarry pit which is adjacent to the Virginia Beach solid waste landfill No. 2. The comment period begins on July 15, 2008 and ends on August 29, 2008. | |
