Yes to the proposition...it is about protecting your rights, nothing else.

I read a few 'anti' comments, and while I respect others rights, I can't surrender my rights to their 'feelings'.  It is time to put aside 'feelings' and deal with logic.  The constitution tells us that gun ownership is an individual right.  We MUST NOT abrogate ANY of our rights, no matter how it makes someone 'feel'.  Otherwise, these 'feelings' will fritter away our liberties and freedoms one at a time and before you know it, we will have neither liberty nor freedom.

It isn't about hunting, it isn't about self defense, it isn't about feeling safe.  It is about our rights.  Being free and having liberty is expensive.  We have to accept things that we may not like.  We may 'feel' less secure in some aspects, but at least we will be FREE.

To those who are frightened that gun carry will be legal....you don't need to fear the law abiding, only the lawless and by definition, they don't care about the law.  I carry a gun whenever I can and it is my most sincere wish to never have to use it.  I have no desire to hurt anyone, nor to instill fear.  Think of a firearm as a seatbelt.  You wear one, hoping that you will never have to use it.  You don't look forward to having to use it.  You just do it to protect yourself.

Oh, yeah.  I am a Canadian living in VA, so I know a thing or two about 'gun control'
