As a CHP holder, I believe that enacting the petition is in the best interest of many Virginia residents and law abiding citizens such as myself.

CHP holders have proven themselves to be lawful and upstanding citizens.  That is why we take extra interest in following the law and exercising our 2nd amendment right to protect ourselves and our families.  State Forests and Parks should be no exception.

Please allow law abiding CHP holders to protect themselves in state forests just as they do everywhere else.

I support the petition to allow concealed carry in state forests.
