Insertion of catheters by unlicensed trained staff in a veterinary hospital- I support

I feel like the trained staff that is motivated to insert a catheter correctly is safe and reliable. It may help someday in an emergency . There are not enough Vet techs to handle the workload at our practice to place all the catheters.

We have also had emergencies that non techs had to place a cath because the tech was unable. It was a benefit to have other people trained. The caths should be placed under veterinary or tech supervision.
