I am in favor of this ammendment.  I have had assistants who had better skills than LVTs and ultimately it all falls to the veterinarians.  If we are comfortable with their skills and it might save it a life, then it is only logical.  It is not about disrespecting our LVTs, it is realizing that there is a need to ease the burden placed on the time-limited veterinarian who knows the abilities of their staff. There is a real shortage of LVTs and I am very pleased that the Board is recognizing this problem.
