I am 100% opposed to making it legal for an unlicensed individual to place IV catheters. I just finished 3 years of schooling at Blue Ridge Community College to be able to legally perform this task. I worked very hard to obtain my license and I do not think that this highly technical task should be gifted to unlicensed personnel. I strongly disagree with this petition.
