I support this petition, and politely call for its enactment. There are many dangers present in our beautiful state forests, and being able to legally defend you, your family, and others from an attacking animal or an opportunistic criminal. These rights are already recognized in Virginia. Therefore, I support allowing law-abiding citizens to carry firearms in our State Forests, in concert with state law.
