Supporting the right to carry in parks is an act of pure "common sense" in the eyes of all hunters and outdoor types. You are for the most part on your own and help is almost always to far away. One must always remember that the threat when in the outdoors can come from humans and animals. Having had to face down a mountain lion when bow hunting on national park land knowing that I could have been armed for protection but instead had to rely on luck that this cat wasn't hungry enough to take on a fully grown man. That is not a situation that I want to be in again. Nor should a hiker or tourist have to fear for their lives or that of their loved ones because of antigun ignorance. Support common sense and support this petition.
