Understanding that current laws prohibit the carry of firearms in the State Park system does not ensure the safety of citizens in the park. Law abiding citizens will follow the current law however the criminals who would pose a threat to law abiding citezens do not. With this in mind I feel more of a safety threat while in this situation. My firearm is not used to threaten anybody. It is there for the sole purpose of protecting myself and my family if placed in a dangerous position. Thank You in advance for passing this action for our well being as a whole.
