Dear Sir / Madam:

The purpose of this message is to strongly encourage all State entities and particularly the Department of Forestry o permit the lawful possession of concealed firearms for personal protection.  This message is submitted on behalf and for the safety of myself, my family, our extended family and our employees.

- All of the people we know who have the right to carry concealed weapons in their home states are among the finest and most upstanding citizens. 

- All of the people I know who have been the victims of crimes against their person have been in areas where either guns were outlawed or concealed carry was not permitted. 

- All of the people I know (who were not in combat zones) who have defended themselves or others with a firearm never had to fire a shot.

- All of my experience and all of the statistics I have researched shows strongly and clearly that society is safer when criminals live in fear of committing criminal acts, not when good people fear criminal acts being committed against them. 

Most people are good people.  You have to let them defend themselves because you cannot be there to protect them.
