Everyone has the right to be secure in their person and property as guaranteed by the Consitution and recently confirmed by the Supreme Court.  Criminals do not obey gun laws and allowing honest citizens to exercise their Consitutional rights will not drive crime up higher; in fact, it will lower crime.
