I am in favor of the CE increase. As many have stated, as a LVT, I am constantly seeking to gain more knowledge to improve the care I provide for my patients. While I agree much is learned on the job, there is still much that can be gained from CE experiences. Saying that knowledge can be gained through on the job experience alone is akin to saying that you don't need the required college education to become licensed in the first place. There are many free online CEs that are available that can be taken in your own time, with out having to request leave from work.
