I support Excelsior's Associate Program. I have found this program to be an excellent spring broad to higher learning. Distance programs have a higher turnout of self motivated and self disciplined students. Many of Excelsior's students are already employed in the field of nursing. The nursing shortage in Virginia is difficult enough without adding additional demands to new graduates.
