We are going way too far with all this. As someone who personally knows TWO women who were sexually assaulted in restrooms (one in a school facility and one in a public park), I can’t begin to understand how we could ignore the inherent danger in these policies. How can a child know at a glance who is a danger to her, in time to run if needed? Answer- she can’t.
Also, children aren’t just automatically ok with or mature enough to deal with biological differences.
If we do this, we will be guilty of gross negligence toward our children’s safety, mental health, and stress levels in school environments. How can we possibly be even considering this?
