I do not believe it is the right of the government to mandate how parents can raise their children. All this bill will do is discriminate against all other children. The opposite sex should not use the same bathroom or play some of the same sports. This will create a divide that may never be fixed. I have taught my children to be respectful to everyone, but this will be undermining everything I have taught. Basically, a transgender child will be in charge of a school system and that is fundamentally wrong. Put policies in place that would hinder discrimination just like there is for minority groups, but do not place this group above anyone else. If this passes, there will be an overwhelming decrease in the public education sector and more private and homeschooling.
