Guidance Document Change: The Model Policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia’s Public Schools guidance document was developed in response to House Bill 145 and Senate Bill 161, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly, which directed the Virginia Department of Education to develop and make available to each school board model policies concerning the treatment of transgender students in public elementary and secondary schools. These guidelines address common issues regarding transgender students in accordance with evidence-based best practices and include information, guidance, procedures, and standards relating to: compliance with applicable nondiscrimination laws; maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment free from discrimination and harassment for all students; prevention of and response to bullying and harassment; maintenance of student records; identification of students; protection of student privacy and the confidentiality of sensitive information; enforcement of sex-based dress codes; and student participation in sex-specific school activities, events, and use of school facilities.

Trans Rights are Human Rights and there’s scientific backing/proof that being Trans is natural.

Trans Women are Women and Trans Men are Men and Trans Rights are Human Rights. It’s as simple as that. They should not be discriminated against for who they are. Sex and Gender are two separate things and both are a Spectrum. It’s a biological fact that there are more than 2 sexes in both humans and other animals in nature. And it’s a sociological fact that Gender is a social construct that was strictly defined under European rule and which was imposed under colonialism and imperialism. Everything that denotes “Gender” is just a material good imposed on people by society, for example: clothing types, makeup, toys, colors, etc. and none of these things are inherently for boys or girls or men or women. No one is born immediately wanting those things that relate to their imposed gender, it’s being a part of society that makes people want and use those things to be accepted by society. And throughout history there have been many documented peoples, cultures, and civilizations having more than just 2 genders as well. The concept of a strict Gender is insane and harmful to people and their true selves. The leading cause of suicide in people who are Trans is not being accepted for being Trans. Trans Rights are Human Rights.
