Encouragement of adolescent youths in the 'normalcy' of transgender beliefs and experiences would be the worst sort of child abuse. Adult sanction of a homosexual orientation would merely foster thinking and behavior contrary to the child's best interest, at a time in children's lives when experimentation with self-destructive behavior has long, dire consequences. To tacitly urge a child to experiment with abominable behavior would sow the seeds for his or her psychological anguish, later in life. Homosexuality and transgenderism amount to behaviors that bring terrible suffering, because the Creator judges them as severe sin. Youths naturally rebel against injustice (real or imagined), but the actual injustice would be encouragement of young people to experiment with homosexual behavior! If homosexuality were genetically determined, it would have become extinct long ago, due to much-lower reproductive rates by gay couples. Instead, transgenderism and homosexuality would be unwise responses to demonic temptations, remediable by the LORD Jesus Christ and the application Christian sound doctrine.
