Guidance Document Change: The Model Policies for the Treatment of Transgender Students in Virginia’s Public Schools guidance document was developed in response to House Bill 145 and Senate Bill 161, enacted by the 2020 Virginia General Assembly, which directed the Virginia Department of Education to develop and make available to each school board model policies concerning the treatment of transgender students in public elementary and secondary schools. These guidelines address common issues regarding transgender students in accordance with evidence-based best practices and include information, guidance, procedures, and standards relating to: compliance with applicable nondiscrimination laws; maintenance of a safe and supportive learning environment free from discrimination and harassment for all students; prevention of and response to bullying and harassment; maintenance of student records; identification of students; protection of student privacy and the confidentiality of sensitive information; enforcement of sex-based dress codes; and student participation in sex-specific school activities, events, and use of school facilities.

STRONGLY OPPOSE

Writing in opposition the the transgender bill. People are either boys or girls. This bill opposes freedom of speech and compels people to certain forms of speech against their conscience and reality. It is not love to let people persist in delusion. Boys and girls want to have separate bathrooms. I don't want penises in the bathroom with my daughters. Plain and simple. No one wants that. Transgender people are not killing themselves because they can't use a certain bathrooms. They are committing suicide even cause they have been lied to and feel despair and desperation I'm their souls. Pray for them, but do not go along with this diabolical attack on the family, reason, freedom of speech, and natural law. The language used in this bill is contrived. We are not "assigned" genders. We are one thing or another. The amount of people who are actually intersex due to chromosomal abnormalities is vanishingly small and the grand exception and does not prove a rule. Propagating this ideology further will lead to further destruction. I will pray a rosary for all those demoralized and captured by the transgender ideology and for all those who propagate it that they may turn back to Christ and cease this diabolical, in the true sense of the word, against humanity.
