Until we stop forcing an untrue issue, we will continue to see hate take root in people's hearts. For the religious readers, the bible says God created night and day. It doesn't specificially talk about all the other hours of the day, does it? What about noon? Would you say that noon doesn't exist because it's not in the bible? We live with something other than JUST night and JUST day. As such, when it says He created male and female, the bible encompasses every permutation and every person in between. You know WAY more people living along the spectrum of gender than on either end of it - people are just afraid to tell you or show you. It's time we accept the science AND embrace God's main message: LOVE ONE ANOTHER. This policy does just that. Thank you to the leaders embracing this and sowing seeds of kindness and acceptance instead of hate and denial.
